Merry Christmas

I did not see Rudd's outburst on TV last night as I had to be at a Birthday party, however I have seen enough on this site to know what he is at. The word delusional is a good description of his behavior and he is now chucking a tantrum because he almost had his hand in the lolly jar.
The whole thing is very serious when a prime minister thinks he is a dictator and can rule by decree without consultation with the electorate. He wrecked the Goss government in Qld which most people did not mind as history proves and now he his intent on breaking Australia by signing us up to World Government.
The time has come to cut his wings by either the G.G. sacking him as per Whitlam and Kerr or a general election is called by the G.G.
The power has gone to his head. I just hope someone with more knowledge than myself can instigate his dismissal . A very worried voter, Barry Ayscough.

I agree with you Barry. I think the following comments by Rupert Murdoch sums it up very well.
AAP

Media magnate Rupert Murdoch says Kevin Rudd is too sensitive to media criticism and is more interested in strutting the world stage than running Australia. To read the complete article

Hi Barry A,
If you've got the time, it's worth reading KRudd's speech at the Lowy Institute. Links have been posted before but here it is for convenience - [Rudd}
"A very worried voter", - but you still have your vote, use it wisely. A vote for the Greens is a vote for Labor. If you have an Independent, check their credentials.

I doubt whether K Rudd has done anything that would 'legally' warrant his removal from office, even though you'd get a 'consensus' for his axing from lots of groups, Agmates included. This smart little fella would have all the legal advice to see how far he can stretch the parameters.
And there is another problem, G.G Quentin Bryce is a Rudd appointee. The G.G. has shown a bias toward Rudd's endeavours by soliciting support from African nations for Australia (read Rudd) to be on the UN Security Council. And yes Australia paid for the privilege of sendng the G.G to Africa.

The mention of Goss, Rudd and Quentin Bryce also raises another ghost, that of the unresolved Heiner Affair where documents were shredded to conceal evidence by the Department of Mr Fixit, run by public servant K Rudd.
Maybe we shouldn't refer to the PM as Mr Fixit, but as Mr Nine Lives.

Barry - Robert Menzies famously wrote in the column of one his his speaches "SHOUT HERE - ARGUMENT WEAK" This was his main way of getting support for something he knew was dodgy. Rudd is therefore using a famous technique. Most likely he knows that the climate is in a permanent state of flux and therefore total nonsense to talk about "change"

And re the Heiner affair Jeff, I totally agree. That was buried as too hot to handle. Treason in my opinion.

I'd love to witness the Bernardi -Joyce Coalition Show but may have to wait an election or two first!

Hi Rob,
I would second your bernardi - Joycde coalition, They seem to be the ones with the brains to get the country out of this mess.

Hi Von Curtis, Malcolm,
I've just looked up the definition of "treason" in Australia, and I don't think it applies, we don't have a war situation, and the act of displacing the Monarch by war or similar causing the death of the Monarch, doesn't apply.

But the act of "treachery" may apply see [here]

I too have used treason 'emotively' but I think it was Rob Wass that pointed out that it may not apply.

Malcolm,
Heiner is still in Qld Hansard, and is still being looked at by the legals.

Hi Jeff,

I suspect you are right. Treachery is a much better description. Thanks for the heads up from you and Rob. Any chance of you starting a discussion group on the larger implications of the Heiner incident, since it would be a revelation for the less informed?

Hi Malcolm,
I must be cautious about any posting which could be classed as slander, and also as this matter is still in legal hands, doubly cautious.

But I can post a link to a very comprehensive cover of Heiner, Goss , Beattie and the Governor [here]
On the RHS, a column with links to radio interviews, 4BC with Michael Smith, 2GB with Alan Jones, lots of documents.
Should whet a few appetites.
Just be cautious about what you post.

An extract from the above link, you'll appreciate:

Our friendly white haired PM known as Dr Death in his former role in the Goss government.
Linked from LHS column on previous linked document.

Further note: "treachery" carries up to a life time sentence in Australia.

Hi JeffT

It's a pity that a life sentence isn't the term of his natural..... not that his is natural IMO.... I think 25 years is the max served ... but correct me if I'm wrong
